Second year so far

This year iv started my studio work looking at mental health, such as depression. Iv been looking at and researching artist who have suffered from mental health such as Louise bouisegiose.

Who suffered with depression after her father died. Most of her work I'd created in instilations. The series of cages called "cells" depict stages in her life witch she can visit or shut the door on.

Tracy emin who is well known for her instillation of her bed from when she was in the lowest point of depression is very rawer. This self exposure is interesting as she shows off her vunrable side to the world.

My work.
I started off with creating images of my own experience with depression to start moving in the right direction.

I started to research how people protect them selfs from society. I started looking at cocoons as I feel that when people who suffer hide away but not only to protect them self but to develope and become more able to cope with there reality.

After workin on these drawring I developed the in to a sculpture witch I made with latex and wire.

Lincoln uni-Fine art BA first year.

After being accepted to all my university's I'd applied to I chose lincoln to carry on my education in fine art. I found it to be the most appropriate place for me to study.

After a slow start of briefs I didn't really put my all in to I finally got going when we were allowed to direct our own study's I'd chosen the subject of taboo to research.

Taboo
I start off my project with general research and drawring to start producing my ideas. I find this littoral begging to help me get the obviousness out of the way and creat more interesting work.

I start producing and experimenting with tequnics. These are mainly biased in 3D as I am more inclined to work with my

I started looking at locked doors and keys, what people hide behind. I moved from very obvious taboos to more common but rarely talked about such as alcohol abuse

After producing this work I started developing what I'd done in to larger pieces, installations.

I find that when your more involved in the art work the more effective it can be on the viewer.
