Foundation NCN

Iv not been an artist for that long. I only started in 2011 with my foundation course at New College Nottingham. With no GCSEs or a-level in art i jumped straight in at the deep end with no Knowledge of art or popular artists, you could say i was a blank canvas!(art pun!)..... After a gap year of doing nothing but trying to find a job and working at primark i was ready to go back in to education desperately!!

Best thing to of ever happened! i loved my year at NCN. Learning new things every day off my tutors and students. we began the year off by dipping our toes in to lots of different areas of art; Textiles, painting, life drawing, scuplture and oh so many other.

After a jammed packed few months i decided to go in to fine art as i found this to me the most rewarding and captivating subject. With the new found free rain over my ideas and work witch at first was very daunting but i finally got in to the swing of things.

Project one- Where is the line?

I was looking at where the boundaries of art would stop after looking at artist such as Joel peter witkin my final piece became a scenario of where is the line in medicine.

Project Two-demonds!
I was looking at free will and if we are pulling our own strings in life. id created an small instillation witch consisted of photo grams a puppet and some shadow photography.
(i cant seem to find any images of this work)

Final project- medicine
My exam piece was about the dependancy on medication and the blind faith the public has in the tablets  they take

Passed my foundation and went on to lincoln uni to carry on my study of fine art!
